Patrick is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor years of experience working in the mental health field. He has experience working with anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, child and adolescent behavioral problems, sexual behaviors and other life experiences. He provides therapy to adults and adolescents. He believes that each person has their own story that has shaped what they are currently experiencing. Through his work, he strives to foster a safe space where clients can tell their story, gain insight into how that story impacts functioning, and create a new reality that is more fulfilling.
Patrick received his master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Drake University. He has experience working in both residential and outpatient settings. Patrick utilizes various therapeutic techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and solution focused approaches. He believes in working together to process life’s experience and create the necessary space to create change.
When Patrick isn’t working he enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys. They enjoy spending time outside camping and biking. He also likes to relax by watching sports and hanging out with his two dogs.
